Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Transform Extensions - Beaded Weft quick move up.

We recommend booking a move-up every 6–8 weeks depending on your hair growth, activity level, and weft placement. Regular appointments prevent tension, tangling, and visible tracks, keeping your extensions secure, comfortable, and looking freshly installed.

A properly performed move-up is designed to protect your natural hair. Our stylists reposition beads with minimal tension, assess hair health, and advise care to reduce breakage. Neglecting maintenance increases risk, so regular appointments help maintain hair integrity.

Most move-ups take 45 to 90 minutes depending on the number of wefts and density. We'll assess your weft rows and hair condition on arrival; exact time varies by customization, desired styling, and any needed repairs or replacements.

We suggest waiting 24 to 48 hours before heavy washing or intensive treatments to allow beads to settle. You may dampen gently, but use sulfate-free products and avoid rubbing the roots; follow our aftercare for best results.

Move-ups typically reuse your existing wefts, moving them closer to the scalp. If a weft is damaged or thinning we recommend replacing it. Your stylist will advise during the appointment and quote any replacement or additional weft costs.

Come with clean, dry hair free of heavy styling products to allow precise bead placement. Bring photos of your preferred look, any extension notes, and arrive on time. We’ll consult on maintenance and advise home care during your visit.
